Mental Health and Substance Use Intersections

The Intersections of Mental Health Perspectives in Addictions Research Training (IMPART) program was a multidisciplinary research training program funded by the Canadian Institute for Health Research (CIHR) over a 12-year period. It equipped and supported health researchers from across disciplines, sectors and settings to conduct and sex- and gender-based analyses and intersections of other topics involving: gender and sex, addiction, mental health, violence, and trauma. IMPART legacy site has a wealth of materials, fact sheets, video clips and a course on addiction.
