Sex- and gender-based analysis (SGBA) is essential in planning programs, developing policies and conducting research. The application of SGBA promotes inclusive policies, appropriate and cost-effective services and good science. SGBA is a powerful approach for highlighting health and other inequities.
SGBA eLearning Resource—Visit the interactive online learning resource on SGBA, based on the book Rising to the Challenge: Sex- and Gender-based Analysis for Health Planning, Policy, and Research in Canada
The Source is a web-based resource centre of women’s health data, documents, and reports which provides introductory SGBA on prominent topics in women’s health, followed by links to provincial, national, and international data sources, reports, and reviews. The data needs refreshing, and we invite researchers, policy analysts and others to share relevant data links and reports.
