Women & Health Care Reform / Les femmes et la réforme de la santé

Women and Health Care Reform is a multi-disciplinary, collaborative group who investigates and advises on the effects of health care reforms on women as providers, decisions makers and users of health care systems. Our members are drawn from within the Centres of Excellence for Women’s Health, the Canadian Women’s Health Network, Canadian universities, and government.

The mandate of the group is to coordinate research on health care reform and to translate this research for policies and practice. The Women and Health Care Reform Group has worked for over 10 years to illuminate the ways in which health systems, systemic change and health care reforms affect women as recipients and providers of care, through original research and analysis.
